Zombie Walk 2013

Heights’ very own Darren Tompkins will lead the expected crowd of 3000 at this years Zombie Walk.

If you want to be creeped-out by hordes of walking dead (~3000 of them) this is the place to be Saturday 10/19/13. Everything from little kids with face paint, to Hollywood style  effects. It’s a haunted house spilled out into the streets.

Zombie Walk  starts at 2:00 pm at Jones Plaza. There is an entry fee of $15, but proceeds go to the Houston Humane Society  Houston Children’s Charity,  and the Dove Key Ranch Wildlife Center.

This year’s entertainment features Reverend Horton Heat and Houston’s Dollyrockers.

This is the third year for the event. “We’re outgrowing Jones Plaza. We’ll see what happens next,” Tompkins said.
