Food Truck Friday – in the Heights

I went to Torchy’s Tacos yesterday evening. It was their opening day and they were packed! There is an outside eating area right on the 19th St sidewalk. This and the new Heights General Store were the only places obviously open. All the closed shops made it look desolate..kind’a sad.

However, all that changes tonight! (sorry for late notice). This is Food Truck Friday in the Heights. There will be several food trucks lined up to serve you on 19th St, and about 2 dozen shops will be open late to entice you inside. This area is fun to visit, especially in the evening.
5-9 pm Friday 9/27: Flip ‘n Patties, Happy Endings (how can you not like that name?), Bernie’s, Pi Pizza Truck, and others will be there.
So, there is reason to be on 19th St now, no need to wait for the holidays or for the First Saturday events.
