The Eighth Annual Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt is being sponsored by the Houston Heights Association on Sunday, Oct. 6.
Bike Race/Scavenger Hunt Soon
This is not exactly a real “race.” More of a family-centric get-together/ride for riders of any age and abilities. Part of the ride is a scavenger hunt, so how fast could that be?
Registration is open now. Take your choice of a 20 mile route through the Heights and nearby neighborhoods or a 5 mile jaunt for kids and family members. Marmion Park, at Heights Blvd and 18th is the starting and finishing point.
Rally card, map and a clue list for scavenger items will be given to each entrant. See details at links above, or register online at the Bicycle Rally page. Call 713-861-4002. Of course all proceeds go the the association for its many activities.
Even if you don’t go on ride, meet your friends afterwards at Marmion Park (at 3:30) for the post-ride party and at 4:30 for awards.
