Heights Area Book Sale

Friends of the Houston Public Library is holding a local book sale this Friday through Saturday. Free admission, books are $1 or $2 each. All age readers invited to dig through over 22,000 books.

Book Sale

Types of books include: Art and Music, African American/Black Studies, Fiction, Biography, History, How To, Literature, Sports/Entertainment, Health/Fitness, Texana and Cookbooks.

This Winter Book Sale will be the first of community events to be held quarterly. Times for this event are:

• Friday, January 24, 2014 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There was a sneak peak for members only this evening, but too late for that.

The location is: 2025 West 11th St (at T C Jester), the Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church. This is just West of the Heights on 11th St.
